The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Canberra is Vietnam’s resident diplomatic mission in Australia.
The Embassy represents Vietnam in its official relations with Australia and supports diplomatic, economic, trade, cultural, educational and other areas of cooperation between the two countries.
The mission also provides consular services and assistance for Vietnamese citizens and other eligible applicants in Australia.

Other consular services

Consular applications are currently received on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.
The afternoon period from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm is reserved for document collection and urgent cases.
The Embassy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and applicable public holidays.
