The Swedish Consulate in Perth provides honorary Swedish consular representation throughout Western Australia.
The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade officially designates the mission as the Consulate of Sweden and lists its jurisdiction as Western Australia.
The mission is headed by Mrs Lisa Jahrsten, Honorary Consul of Sweden. DFAT records her appointment from 11 December 2015.
Although Perth is an honorary Consulate, it provides selected consular services locally and has an additional role in Swedish emergency passport services. Professional diplomatic and other consular matters remain under the responsibility of the Embassy of Sweden in Canberra.
