About the Australian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam
The Australian High Commission in Bandar Seri Begawan is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission in Brunei Darussalam and represents the Australian Government in its official relationship with Brunei.
Australia and Brunei have a longstanding bilateral relationship covering areas including defence and security, trade and investment, education and regional cooperation.
Both countries are members of regional and international frameworks including ASEAN-related forums, APEC, the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership.

The High Commission asks visitors to book counter service appointments at least 24 hours before attending.
Notarial services are not available to walk-in clients. Notarial appointments can currently be made up to six months in advance.
For a notarial appointment, the High Commission also asks clients to email a copy of the relevant documentation after making the booking so that the requirements can be reviewed before the appointment.
