The Australian High Commission in Suva is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission in the Republic of Fiji and represents the Australian Government in its official relationship with Fiji.
Australia and Fiji have extensive political, economic, development, security and people-to-people links. The bilateral relationship is supported by the Fiji-Australia Vuvale partnership and close cooperation on regional priorities.
The High Commission includes representatives from several Australian Government agencies and supports Australia’s diplomatic, development, trade, security and regional engagement in Fiji.

Notarial services
The High Commission provides eligible notarial services for Australian documents and foreign documents intended for use in Australia. Fees apply and appointments are required.
Visa and citizenship enquiries: the High Commission’s consular section cannot assist with Australian or Fijian visa, citizenship or residency matters. Australian immigration and citizenship information should be obtained through the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

Passport and notarial services are currently provided from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm Monday to Friday, except public holidays. An appointment is required before attending.
Passport applicants who need to lodge an application in person should book through the High Commission’s official appointment system. Allow at least 30 minutes for a passport interview.
Eligible adult passport renewals can be lodged by mail. Applicants who do not meet the published renewal criteria must lodge their application in person.
Notarial services are also appointment-only. Before booking, confirm with the organisation receiving your documents exactly which notarial act is required.
Passport processing: the High Commission currently advises allowing a minimum of six weeks to receive a new passport after payment has been taken. Incomplete applications can cause additional delays.
