The Australian Embassy in Berlin is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission in Germany and represents the Australian Government in its official relationship with the Federal Republic of Germany.

Appointments at the Australian Embassy in Berlin
In-person passport and notarial services at the Australian Embassy in Berlin are available by appointment only.
The Passport and Notarial Section currently operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, except public holidays.
New passport applications, first adult passports, applications involving a name change and replacement applications for lost or stolen passports require an in-person appointment. Emergency passport applicants should contact the Australian mission before booking.
Eligible adult passport renewals and eligible child renewals for children under 16 can be submitted by post instead of attending an appointment.
Completed passports can currently be collected in Berlin Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm without an appointment. Bring valid identification when collecting your passport.
Processing time: the Embassy currently advises allowing a minimum of four weeks to receive a new passport after lodgement. Applicants should take this timeframe into account when planning international travel.
