The Australian High Commission in Islamabad is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The High Commission represents the Australian Government and supports relations between Australia and Pakistan across diplomacy, development, trade, security and people-to-people links.
It also provides consular assistance to Australians in Pakistan, Australian passport services and eligible notarial services.

Australian passports
Eligible adult passport renewals and eligible child renewals for children up to 15 years old can be lodged by mail. Other passport applications may require personal attendance by appointment.
Notarial services
The High Commission provides eligible Australian notarial services. Applicants must arrange an appointment and ensure their documents are prepared correctly for the service required.
Visa and citizenship matters: the Consular Services Section does not accept or process Australian visa or citizenship applications. These matters are administered by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

First-time child passport applications, applications from people aged 16 or 17, first adult passport applications and certain replacement applications must be lodged in person by appointment.

Allow extra time: passport applicants using the designated shuttle service should arrive at the shuttle station at least one hour before their scheduled appointment to allow sufficient time for transport and security checks.

Notarial payments: notarial fees can currently be paid at the consular counter by credit or debit card, or by an exact-value bank draft in Pakistani rupees made payable to the Australian High Commission Official Account.
