About the Australian High Commission in Niue
The Australian High Commission in Alofi is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission in Niue.
Australia and Niue established diplomatic relations in February 2013. Australia initially accredited its High Commissioner in Wellington to Niue on a non-resident basis before establishing a resident High Commission in Alofi in August 2020.
The High Commission supports the bilateral relationship between Australia and Niue, including diplomatic engagement, development cooperation and people-to-people links.
