Visa and citizenship matters: the Consulate-General does not provide assistance with Australian visa or citizenship applications. These matters are administered by the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

Passport and notarial services requiring personal attendance are available by appointment. Passport interviews are held between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Passport appointments
First adult passports, first child passports and applications following a lost or stolen passport require personal attendance. Other circumstances may also require an appointment.
Notarial appointments
Notarial services are provided by appointment only. Before attending, confirm exactly which notarial service the organisation receiving your document requires.
Passport renewals: eligible adult ten-year passport renewals and eligible child renewals for children up to 15 years can be lodged by post or courier without visiting the Consulate-General.
Processing time: the Consulate-General currently advises applicants to allow up to six weeks to receive a passport after payment has been accepted.
