The Australian High Commission in Singapore is the official representative of the Australian Government in the Republic of Singapore.
The High Commission represents Australia’s interests and supports the bilateral relationship between Australia and Singapore across diplomacy, trade, investment, defence, security, education and other areas of cooperation.
The mission also provides consular assistance, Australian passport services and eligible notarial services to Australians in Singapore.

Consular assistance
Australians living in or visiting Singapore can contact the High Commission for consular assistance in accordance with the Australian Government’s Consular Services Charter.
Australian passports
The High Commission processes Australian passport applications. Depending on the application type and eligibility, an application may be lodged by post or may require an in-person appointment.
Notarial services
Eligible services include document legalisation, certifying eligible copies, witnessing certain signatures and issuing Certificates of No Impediment to Marriage. Notarial services are provided by appointment.
Visa and citizenship matters: Australian visa, immigration and citizenship matters are administered by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. Follow the current Home Affairs process for the application or enquiry you need.

Appointments at the Australian High Commission in Singapore
Passport applications requiring personal lodgement and all in-person notarial services must be booked in advance.
The Consular and Passports Section is located on the third floor of the High Commission and operates from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, excluding designated Australian and Singapore public holidays.
Before booking a passport appointment, check whether your application qualifies for postal lodgement. Eligible applications can be sent directly to the Passports Office at the High Commission.

Electronic devices: cameras, camera phones and laptop computers cannot be carried into the High Commission unless they have been security cleared in advance.
Passport processing: allow at least six weeks for a new Australian passport after payment. Apply well before your planned travel date.
Priority processing: Priority Processing is not available for Australian passport applications lodged overseas.
Payment: passport and notarial fees are charged in Australian dollars and can be paid using a physical Visa, Mastercard or American Express card. Contactless and Apple Pay payments are not accepted.
