About the Australian High Commission in Trinidad and Tobago
The Australian High Commission in Port of Spain is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission to the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and an important regional Australian mission in the Caribbean.
The High Commission represents the Australian Government across a wide group of Caribbean countries and supports Australia’s diplomatic, economic, development, cultural and people-to-people relationships throughout the region.
The High Commissioner is also Australia’s Plenipotentiary Representative to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

Current High Commission instructions require mailed passport applications to be sent using FedEx or DHL. Include a prepaid registered courier airway bill or the appropriate courier account details for return delivery.

Applications that require a passport interview must be lodged in person at the High Commission by appointment. Emergency passport applications also require personal attendance.
