About the Australian Embassy in Zimbabwe
The Australian Embassy in Harare is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission to the Republic of Zimbabwe.
The Embassy represents the Australian Government and supports Australia’s relationships across southern and central Africa, including diplomatic, economic, development and people-to-people cooperation.
In addition to Zimbabwe, the Embassy has non-resident accreditation to Zambia, Malawi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo.

Do not leave your passport application until immediately before travel. Full-validity passports require processing, handling and delivery time.
Passport processing: the Embassy advises that full-validity Australian passports take approximately six weeks for processing, handling and delivery.
Passport payment: passport fees quoted in US dollars may change at the beginning of each month. Fees can be paid in US dollars in cash or by international credit or debit card. International card payments are charged in Australian dollars.
Notarial payment: notarial fees are payable at the appointment by credit or debit card. Payments made by card are charged in Australian dollars. Diners Club, American Express and virtual cards are not accepted.
Driver’s licences: the Embassy cannot renew Australian driver’s licences. If an Australian licensing authority requires a witnessed signature or endorsed photograph, the Embassy may be able to provide the relevant notarial service for a fee.
