The Australian Embassy in Dili is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.

Australian passports
The Embassy accepts Australian adult and child passport applications. Applicants should complete the appropriate application, prepare the required original documents and photographs and follow the current lodgement instructions.
Notarial services
Eligible notarial services include affidavits, oaths and affirmations, Certificates of No Impediment to Marriage, certified copies, certain land transfer or mortgage documents and Australian statutory declarations.
Canadian citizens: under applicable consular arrangements, the Australian Embassy in Dili also provides consular assistance to Canadian citizens travelling or living in Timor-Leste.

Appointments at the Australian Embassy in Dili
Australian passport applications and notarial services are provided by appointment. Clients without an appointment will normally be seen only in exceptional circumstances.
Bookings can be made through the Embassy’s appointment system. Appointment availability can be viewed up to two months in advance.
Visitors should arrive approximately five minutes before their appointment to allow time for security screening.
