The Australian Embassy in Lisbon is Australia’s resident diplomatic mission to the Portuguese Republic.
The Embassy represents the Australian Government and supports Australia’s diplomatic, economic, trade and broader bilateral relationship with Portugal.
The Embassy also has responsibility for Australia’s relations with Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau and São Tomé and Príncipe.

Notarial services
Eligible services include witnessing certain documents, certifying copies, Certificates of No Impediment to Marriage and legalising eligible Australian documents by Apostille or Authentication.
Notarial limitations: the Embassy provides a limited range of notarial services. Where an appropriate service can be provided by a local notary, the Embassy may direct clients to use a local provider.
